Ceiling Globe Candle Holders
Ok, I’ve got two examples to show you of this. Instructions for each one appear below each picture.
Really really simple one here. You need:
- 1 - Clear glass candle holder with a diameter at the top that is larger than or equal to the diameter of the top of the ceiling globe being used.
- 1 - Glass ceiling globe. This one is yellow.
- 1 - 3" candle
- Clear marbles to fill in around the candle sitting in the ceiling globe.
Okay, here are the instructions:
- Using clear glue like Super Glue, glue the candle holder to the top of the ceiling globe. Let dry.
- Set the 3" candle in the center of the globe.
- Fill in around the candle with the glass marbles. ALL DONE!
Another Design:
Ok, this one has a few more parts than the first one above but it’s just as easy. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1- Base from a chafing dish (I have also used plant holders and candle bases)
- 1 - Ceiling Globe
- 1 - Lid from a copper pot
- 1 - 2’ candle - mine is a gold one
- Sand - mine was gold sand
- 1 - Small bag of Potpourri
Ok, assembly is as easy as stacking blocks. Here’s what you do:
- Set the ceiling globe inside the chafing dish base.
- Fill the ceiling globe with the potpourri.
- Turn the copper pot lid upside down so that the handle is facing down into the ceiling globe. Center over the potpourri.
- Pour the sand into the upside down copper lid.
- Set the candle in the middle of the sand.
And THAT’S IT! Beautiful!
