Ivy Pot Table Runner

Now, about those wedding-tablescape-turned-guest-favors! Yes, indeed. That is what these lovely little beauties were. So easy to assemble, too! You need (for each one):

  • 1 - Terra cotta pot and saucer (ours were 4")
  • 1 - Ivy plant
  • Potting soil (maybe)
  • 1 - Tag with the Bride and Groom's names and wedding date on them (and you're frugal, right? Print your own, add your own string and use those!)

The "assembly" couldn't be much easier:

  1. 1. Put the ivy plant in the terra cotta pot, if you didn't buy them that way (which you probably didn't because they aren't usually inexpensive that way).
  2. 2. Fill in with potting soil if needed.
  3. 3. Drape the tag over one of the shoots of ivy.

    DONE!

Now, you'll probably easily see how these would be guest favors. But about those tablescapes. For the quest tables, we put four of these in the center of each table, around a white pillar candle. We made enough to also use as a "runner" on the bridal table. Check out the picture below:
